Adding dashboard interactions
- Welcome. Adding dashboard interactions. So far in our dashboard, we have not added any interactivity per se. In this section, let's see how we can add interactivity to your dashboards. You can make your dashboard interactive in a couple of ways. One way is to add drilldown capabilities to your dashboard panels. The other way is to provide input controls, such as dropdown menu and multi-select, and radio button, and so on. You can configure your drilldown to open an external URL or to another dashboard. In addition, you can set or unset tokens. Tokens are an important part of Splunk Dashboard Studio. They behave similar to Classic Dashboard. However, Splunk Dashboard Studio has limited capabilities when it comes to tokens and drilldowns compared to Classic Dashboard.
