- Taking this course and completing all the challenges will take several hours. When I run in-person training sessions with project teams, it takes us two full days to cover all the steps. I think it's a good investment of your time to run through the challenges as a practice before you embark on your own project. You'll be better prepared, and you'll be able to progress faster because you know what to do at each step, and what's necessary to help you move on to the next part of the process. The example project in this course is smaller and much more self-contained than any real-life problem you'll be working on, so you can focus on learning the process more than the actual project outcome. It's also best to complete this course with your other project team members if that's possible. That way, you'll all be on the same page when it comes to using design thinking in your real work.
