- I just gave you multiple instructions all at the same time, so I'm hoping that you followed along. If you did, at this point, you should have a prioritized list of pain points taken from your dot votes. You should also have a list of goals that you made by turning the pain points into positives, and then for each goal, you should have some measures that will tell you if you're having an impact on user satisfaction, efficiency, and effectiveness. Now, the actual pain points that you dot voted might have turned out very different than the list I have here from when I ran this exercise with the development team. That's okay. Different teams aren't going to agree 100% on what constituted the biggest issues. I'll show you our results anyway, just so that you can see the format we wrote the items up in and how we progressed from pain points to goals. Here's our list of pain points.
