Add a watermark to slides
- [Instructor] To add a watermark, go to the View tab and click on Slide Master. Scroll to the very top so that you're on the parent slide layout. Now, go to the Insert tab and select Text Box. Draw it in and type your text. I'm going to center it and format it and rotate it and bring it over here to the top corner of my slide. I'm then going to copy it across the entire slide. Scrolling through the template, you'll see the watermark on all of the layouts except, perhaps, a few. This is because, in the Slide Master tab, this layout has the Hide Background Graphics option selected. This means we'll need to add the watermark ourselves on this slide. I'll copy and paste the watermarks here. And up in the Picture Format tab, I will select Send Backward and Send to Back. To go back to editing mode, select Close Master View. And now you'll see the watermark everywhere in our presentation. On slides like the title slide, where an image covers almost the entire slide, the watermark will not be easy to read. You may want to consider adding the watermarks directly on the slide here in the normal view or making the text a little bit smaller so it's easier to see.
