- [Instructor] Animation is a great way to add a storytelling and dramatic effect to your slides. Remember this slide? I've added a quote to it. If this in Kiosk mode, that is, being run automatically while everybody's looking at it, I think having this appear slowly would be a great way to display the slide. And we can do that through animation. I'll start by selecting my text and heading to the Animations tab. The first thing I need to decide is how this is going to appear. And I have all of these choices. If I click on them, I can get a preview of what it's going to look like. In fact, I can click the down triangle, and I'll see a lot more choices. I'll keep it on Fade, and once I've chosen this animation, I can see that there's an animation on it because I can see the number one next to the slide.
