Governance considerations for rapid migration
- [Instructor] Governance is often an afterthought during the rapid migration process. And that could put the entire rapid migration process at risk. Let's talk about the basics of governance and its role in the cloud migration process and in-state deployments. There are several types of governance solutions to consider including service based, resource based, compliance, and cost governance. Service based governance is able to place governing policies around cloud services as well as services imposed by traditional systems, creating the policies and the enforcement of these policies is an automated set of processes. Resource-based governance is able to place governing policies around cloud resource, such as storage, compute databases, things like that. Again, automation enforces these policies.
