Two ways to duplicate a Smart Object

- Now I'll show you two ways to duplicate a smart object. One of which links to the exact same contents as the original, and one of which does not. And along the way, we'll create a second development of this image, that results in a more dramatic sky. All right, so let's start with the standard approach, which is to say, anytime you want to jump a copy of a layer, you just press Control+J or Command+J on the Mac. If you want to name it as you create that copy, you press Control+Alt+J or Command+Option+J on the Mac. And I'll go ahead and call this layer sky and then I'll click okay. All right, now to change the development settings, I'll go ahead and double click on the thumbnail for the sky layer in order to open that image inside camera raw. Now, I'll go ahead and scroll down this list a little bit, and I'll select the exposure value and I'll take it down to 0.25. Then I'll make my way to the shadow's value and I'll take…
