Shift Edge and Fade Edge

- All right now, we're going to take a look at a couple of options that allow you to control the degree to which the sky encroaches into the foreground image. And they go by the names of Shift Edge and Fade Edge. And so notice that we're looking in a more complex image, that is to say the sky isn't entirely uniformly blue and there's an awful lot of blue going on in the subject of this photograph. And yet I can still do a very nice job of replacing the sky. And so with the background selected, here inside the Layers Panel, you want to once again, go up to the Edit Menu and choose Sky Replacement in order to bring up that Sky Replacement dialog box and notice that by default Photoshop goes ahead and replaces the sky with the last sky you selected, even by the way if you were to change the sky and then click the Cancel button.
