- All right, just so you have another chance to gauge the accuracy of that detect-faces function. Here we are seeing the selected faces set against a white background. Now I don't want to leave you thinking that's about as good as things get. Which is why starting in this movie we're going to embark upon a real-world color range project in which we set this airplane against this opulent sky background complete with some motion blur as well as this rocket plume. Which, while not representative of the way airplanes actually work is nevertheless, quite cool. All right, so here's the background and I've named it crazy colorful sky which will become important in just a moment. And here's the plane. which I'm calling generic airplane. Not because it's boring, but rather because the airplane mysteriously has no commercial markings. All right, now what we want to do is move the plane into the sky background. By…
