Compensating for camera shake

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to compensate for, if not entirely cure the effects of, camera shake. Witness this image right here. It's not of the caliber of the previous photographs because, in part, it's a photo of a bird through a fence at a zoo, so it wasn't really too hard to capture. And secondly, because we have this up and to the right movement going right here. And that's not a function of the bird and its entire background moving. That's the fault of the photographer, me, moving the camera during the shot. And so we can't make it all better because it is ultimately a blurry photograph, but we can make it a little better using smart sharpen. So the first thing I'm going to do is double-click in the background in order to bring up the new layer dialogue box, and I'll call this one bird, and then I will right-click inside the image window with a rectangular marquee tool and choose convert…
