Filling in missing and problem areas with Generative Fill
- You've seen me use generative fill in earlier examples, to fill in things that needed to be removed from a scene. Or to fill in things that were completely missing. But how about a damaged object? There's a lot we can do here. Let's start with the lanterns themselves. We'll zoom in near the lanterns. And take the quick selection tool. You'll find it here located with the magic wand. Now, you can drag across the object to select it. Once you start to get a base selection, you'll begin to see these. However, it's not perfect. I'll press the Q key, to see my selection. If you click over here, on the quick mask tool, you can define the color that's used, as well as the opacity. This makes it easier to see what you do and don't have selected. Now with the paintbrush, B for brush, you can start to modify. I'll adjust the size of the brush, and paint. As I paint here, it starts to load in the general selection of…
