Introducing adjustment layers
- [Instructor] Adjustment layers are a powerful way to make non-destructive edits like changing color or tonal values in an image, or to a portion of an image. Now, in a perfect world, we would have access to the original raw files for all of our images, and then we could make these types of adjustments using Camera Raw or Lightroom Classic's develop module, or even the edit stack in Lightroom to maintain the highest quality possible. But there are times when we don't have access to the raw file, or maybe the area that we need to select and change is easier to select in Photoshop than it is in Camera Raw. We're going to start by adding a hue saturation adjustment layer to make some changes. We can do so by either choosing layer, and then new adjustment layer, and then selecting hue and saturation.
