Highlight text for faster actions in Outlook
- [Instructor] Something that's both fun and useful that you can do with Outlook is highlight text to bring up a context menu of action items that you can do with that text. Here's a long email, it contains Red30's address. Now this is something that I use quite frequently and I keep this email in my inbox. I'd like my eye to go very quickly to that address so I know where to find it. I'm going to click and drag and highlight this block of text. In the context menu that appears, I'm going to choose Highlight, although I do want to point out, I'm left-handed, and I tend to highlight from the bottom to the top. And you'll notice that when I do that, there's no context menu, so it only pops up when you highlight text from the top down. So for all you lefties, you'll need to make sure you highlight it in the correct way. But here's this menu item. So now I'm going to click Highlight.
