- [Narrator] This view has a density as well, and the density is how spread out this is. What's the percentage of white space to the percentage of text? Some people like to have a very dense presentation in their information viewer, and some of us like more spaciousness. Go to View and click the Density dropdown to choose how much spaciousness you would like. So if you want to see more information on the screen and less white space, choose Compact. And you'll notice that this tightened right up. And now we're seeing two more messages we didn't see a moment ago. This is not affecting the entire screen because it's not affecting the reading pane, but it is affecting everything else. Take a look, for example, at our Favorites list on the left, our Folders list, more spaciousness, more white space when we choose Roomy versus when we choose Compact.
