(gentle music) - [Michelle] Welcome to Oracle University's lesson on using graphs in the Oracle Autonomous Database. My name is Michelle. Let's get started. So for those who are not familiar with graphs, graphs are a way of representing your data, whether you can represent your data entities as vertices in your graph, and any relationships between them as edges in the graph. So here for example, you have Melli, Jean, and John, who could be account holders at the bank, and every time there's a cash transfer between them, you have an edge between them. So graphs can help you make explicit such connections in your data entities. In the property graph data model, vertices can have properties and edges can have properties. So the nice thing about graphs is you can create a graph from almost any dataset. Looking again at the bank's account and bank transaction tables you might have in the bank, you have a full list of account IDs. They would naturally become vertices in your graph, and…
