Identifying strengths through task tracking
"I don't know what my strengths are." I get this a lot. So if you're a little uncertain, you're not alone. By using what we call a task tracker, you can uncover a goldmine of information about your strengths. You'll find it in the exercise files. Over the next week, commit to evaluating each new activity you start. Rate yourself based on how energized you feel before, during, and after the activity. Did you perform it well? Did you lose track of time? And if relevant, did you learn new information quickly? At the end of the week, review the tracker and highlight the standouts, both the lows and the highs. This simple tool has helped many of my clients gain valuable insights into their strengths. Use it to help you refine your direction by leveraging more of your strengths.
