Overcoming bad days, procrastination, and setbacks

- We all have bad days, but that doesn't mean we have to let those bad days throw us off. For example, if you feel like procrastinating, use the two-minute rule. If a task can be done in two minutes or less, do it. Clearing these smaller tasks off your plate can remove mental clutter and make you feel like you're making progress. You might also want to try a change of scenery. Walking in nature has been shown to reduce stress and improve moods. You can also try changing rooms or rearranging your workspace. And lastly, be kind to yourself. We're not machines who can be on 24/7. On your bad days, acknowledge your feelings and don't try to keep pushing when your motivation isn't there. I've found that stepping away from screens and doing a short stretch, meditation, or some physical activity can be a great way to reset.
