How to become unforgettable
- Ever notice how the best conversationalists have a way of making people feel truly seen and remembered? It's not luck. It's a skill they've developed, and I call it the call back connection. When I implemented this strategy, it completely transformed my relationships, and showed people I genuinely care because I do. There are three steps. Step one, pay attention. Note down the little details people share. The date of a big presentation, a milestone, or an event. Add it to your calendar, or keep a simple spreadsheet to keep track. Step two, reach out. When that moment arrives, send a quick message or call them, hope the presentation goes well today or happy work anniversary. Step three, follow up. The next time you speak, ask. "How was that presentation?" Or, "How was your daughter's dance recital?" These small gestures create continuity, showing you care enough to remember, and that is what makes you unforgettable.
