What should you know - Amazon Web Services (AWS) Tutorial
From the course: Monitoring AWS with CloudWatch
What should you know
- Before we get started, there are a few things you should know throughout this course. We are going to be using different AWS services, which we are going to monitor using CloudWatch. First, we're going to make use of Lambda functions and Lambda applications in order to have applications running on our environment that generate logs. Although we will use one of the building samples provided by AWS. But if you want to get more familiar with Lambda apps, I suggest you watch the course Building serverless apps on AWS before continuing with this course, which will help you make the most out of it. We're also going to make use of Amazon EC2 instances and auto scaling groups for our metrics and alarms. You can check the course, Amazon EC2 fundamentals before continuing to get the most out of the demos in this course. Let's get started.
