Prepare for the cluster
- [Instructor] So now it's time to create our failover cluster. And even though the cluster creation process is relatively simple and straightforward, there are several things that we need to check both before and after we create the cluster. And the cluster creation process itself can be a bit time consuming depending on the speed of your cluster nodes. So with that said, let's go ahead and get started. The first thing that we need to do is to install the failover clustering feature. And this needs to be done on all of your cluster nodes, which in this case are the Hyper-V servers in our organization. So I'll go ahead and install the necessary feature on this particular server. And I've already installed the failover clustering feature on my other cluster nodes. So the way that you install this feature is by clicking on Manage within the server manager and going to Add Roles and Features.
