Implement IPAM
- [Instructor] By using IPAM, you can allocate IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, optimize your IP address space, manage DHCP and DNS servers, monitor DHCP and DNS servers, and collect statistics from active directory domain controllers and network policy servers. IPAM consists of the following components: the IPAM client, the IPAM server, which contains the IPAM database, is managed through role-based access control, and provides scheduled tasks, and the servers that you want to manage. Let's examine that architecture in a bit more detail. First of all, the IPAM client enables you by using the appropriate remote server administration tools to review reporting and tracking information of your IPAM architecture and its managed servers.
