Exam AZ-800 administering Windows Server hybrid core infrastructure
- Hi, I'm Andrew Warren. My first experience with Server Operating Systems was when I installed a Novell NetWare Server at a customer site in London. I had to set up a network, attach the server device, configure its storage, and then secure the operating system for the organization's users. And although operating systems and service have changed significantly over the years, in many ways the underlying administrative tasks we perform as server admins remains the same. However, now that many organizations are beginning to shift their infrastructure to the cloud, hybrid server administration is becoming increasingly relevant. So IT pros with both on-premises and cloud-based server admin skills are highly sought after. If you are looking to become one of these hybrid server admins, this is the course for you. I've been a Microsoft certified trainer for many years and the first course I taught was Windows NT server. More than 30 years, many hundreds of classes and thousands of students later, I'm still in the service space, teaching the current crop of certification titles to a new generation of IT pros. Over the next nine hours, I'll be your guide to the AZ-800 administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure course. This course is a full study resource that covers the objectives on the AZ-800 administering Windows server Hybrid Core Infrastructure exam. Skills measured by the AZ-800 exam include, deploy and manage active directory domain services in on-premises and cloud environments, which represents around 30 to 35% of the exam. Manage Windows servers and workloads in a hybrid environment, which is around 10 to 15% of the exam. Manage virtual machines and containers, about 15 to 20% of the exam, implement and manage an on-premises and hybrid networking infrastructure, again, around 15 to 20% of the exam. And finally, manage storage and file services again around 15 to 20% of the exam. This course includes a combination of video training and demonstrations to cover these exam objectives. I've used my years of experience to put together a comprehensive AZ-800 administering Windows server hybrid core infrastructure course that by the end, will more than prepare you for the exam and help you on your path to becoming a more skilled hybrid server administrator in Azure.
