- [Bonnie] Hi again, it's Bonnie Biafore. In this tip, I'll show you how to calculate work in hours in a formula. In this project, I already have one custom number field inserted into this table and it's for the area in square feet. Now I'm going to scroll down and I've got a couple of tasks for installing sheetrock and it has values for the area in square feet, but we want to calculate the average square feet per hour based on the actual hours worked. So I'm going to insert another custom number field into this table. To do that, I'll right click the duration heading and then on the shortcut menu choose insert column. I start to type the number field so I can see all those custom number fields and I'm going to select number two. To see how everything works, I'm also going to insert actual work. I'm going to right click duration heading again, choose insert column. This time I start to type actual work and as soon as I see the field name I want, I click it to add it to the table. Now…
