Add a custom sort to the ribbon to reapply it quickly

- [Bonnie] Hi, I'm Bonnie Biafore. In this project tip, I'll show you how to define a custom sort in project, so you can add it to the ribbon and apply it anytime you want. You can define a custom sort, but you need a little bit of a workaround to get it on the ribbon. What you want to do is use a macro that you can add to the ribbon. On the View tab, if you go to the very right end, you'll see Macros. So go ahead and click the Macros button. What we're gonna do is record a macro to define the custom sort. So I'm gonna choose Record Macro, and that opens up the Record Macro dialog box. First off, I'm gonna change the macro name to say what the sort is, so let's say that it's duration underscore and underscore cost. And we wanna store it in the global file, so everything's fine just the way it is. We can click OK and now we're ready to record our custom sort. We stay on the View tab and in the Data section, click the Sort button. On the drop-down menu, choose Sort by. That opens up the…
