Delete tasks and summary tasks

- [Instructor] Deleting tasks works a little differently when you delete work tasks and summary tasks. Let's start by deleting a work task. I'm gonna click the task ID cell for task 19, Hire contractors. That selects the entire task. To delete the task, on the keyboard press the delete key, and the task goes away. Now, if I click the task ID cell for a summary task, in this case, task 16, Identify cost, it's a summary task with a few subtasks beneath it. If I press the delete key on the keyboard, a dialog box opens up and it says, This is a summary task. Deleting it will delete all the subtasks as well. If that's what you wanna do, you can keep the option Continue selected and click OK. If it's not what you wanna do, then select the Cancel option before you click OK. In this case, I'm gonna keep Continue selected and click OK. That deletes the summary task and its subtasks. Well, what if you wanna delete the summary task, but not the subtasks?
