Configure row-level security group membership
- [Instructor] All right, so in this sub-lesson, we are going to configure role level security group membership. In the Power BI service, you can add a member to the role by adding individual email addresses or groups. You can use the following groups to set up role-level security, distribution groups, mail-enabled groups, Microsoft Entra Security groups. Microsoft 365 groups aren't supported, and can't be added to any roles. Some limitations and considerations. If you previously defined roles and rules in the Power BI service, you must recreate them in the Power BI Desktop. Only Import and DirectQuery connections are supported. Live connections and Analysis Services are handled in the on-premise model. So let's go to the Power BI service and take a look. All right, so let's show you where you set this up.
