- [Instructor] Okay, so in this sub lesson, we are going to apply conditional formatting. Okay, in this sub lesson, we are going to configure conditional formatting. All right, so with conditional formatting for tables and Power BI Desktop, you can specify customized cell colors, including color gradients, based on cell values. You can also represent cell values with data bars or KPI icons, or as active web links. You can apply conditional formatting to any text or data field as long as you can base the formatting on a field that has numeric color name or hex code or a web URL value. So with conditional formatting, you can format the background or font color, format by color scale, rules, color values, or a calculation, add data bars or icons, format as web URLs, or format totals and subtotals.
