Transform a query
- [Instructor] All right, so in this particular sublesson we are going to look to go ahead and transform a query. All right, so the first thing we'll look at here is I have a query open that has this value of Budget by Category. And we can see here that the information almost looks like it's laid out as a report. And in fact, what I do here right now is I'm just going to show you what the source data looks like. So before we go ahead and do any transformations, this is what the source file actually looked like out of this particular text file. So we can see, it almost looks like somebody just dumped a report out with our years, months, and then the different categories across the top, and here down at the bottom it says end of report. All right, so let's go ahead and get this transformed. So what I'm going to do here is I am first going to look to remove the blank rows. So I've got some blank rows right here, and I've got a couple down at the bottom. So to do that, we are going to go…
