Configure subscriptions and data alerts
- [Instructor] In this sub lesson, we are going to configure subscriptions and data alerts. So subscriptions allow you to have Power BI email a snapshot of your data to your inbox. When you receive the email, it includes a link to go to the report or dashboard. On mobile devices with Power BI app installed, selecting this link launches the app. With subscriptions, we can tell Power BI how often we want to receive the emails, either daily, weekly, or when the data is refreshed. We can even set a specific time for Power BI to send the emails, or have it run immediately. In all, you can set up to 24 different subscriptions per report or dashboard. Some limitations and considerations. Creating a subscription for yourself requires a Power BI Pro or Premium per user license.
