Create a business rule condition
From the course: Microsoft Power Apps: Using the Dataverse (Formerly the Common Data Service)
Create a business rule condition
- [Instructor] I added three new columns to the vehicle table, glass entitlement, hours, and price. And when I did that Power Apps automatically added price in the base currency, another column. So, with glass entitlement, hours and price in place I'm ready now to create a business rule using those three new columns. Click on Business Rules and then choose Add Business Rule and we'll be thrown into the Business Rule Editor, which is pretty cool. But, once again, we're in Dynamic. So don't be surprised if along the way you're prompted to log in again. Every business rule starts with a condition and this is our business rule right here. If I click on the business rule, the properties will load. Its name is new condition, and I'm going to edit that name so that it's a little more descriptive. This is going to be calculate (typing) price in the vehicle table. (typing) And I can apply that and it changes it right here.…
