Here, I'll quickly summarize the key takeaways of this course, and point you to the next step in your journey towards mastering Microsoft Entra ID. We started off with an analogy of international air travel, and compared it to identity and access management. I tried to correlate the importance of passports and visas to authentication and authorization in the computing world. Then I explained what Entra ID is. We learned that it is an identity as a service running in Azure that allows us to manage users, groups, devices, and apps in the cloud. After that, we looked into its architecture, including the writeable, primary partition, replication within and across the data centers, and read-only secondary replicas.
