- Instructor] I mentioned earlier in this course that Microsoft 365 relies on Microsoft Entra ID to provide authentication services for access to the Microsoft 365 workload. So essentially, Microsoft 365 depends on Entra ID for a portion of its services, and specifically the access to those services. Well, we have a similar scenario when it comes to devices. And when I say a device, I mean a computer or a mobile phone. When it comes to devices, those devices can also become security objects, security principles, that manage access or that are authorized to access resources. As well, those devices can be managed. Applications can be pushed onto those devices. You can monitor the devices, audit them, apply security policies to the devices, specify when they can or cannot access the resources on your infrastructure.
