- [Instructor] A Microsoft Entra ID tenant, or as we used to know it, an Azure AD directory is an entity within our Entra infrastructure, an entity of an Entra ID. So here I have my various tenants that we looked at at a previous video in this course, all my various groups of users and groups and devices and applications that reside within Entra ID. But I can create more. If I want to have a separate tenant, maybe for a separate organization or a separate business unit in my organization, I can create an additional tenant within my Entra environment. So I'm going to click here on the Create button to create my additional tenant. You'll notice immediately that you have two choices. A Workforce tenant, which is essentially what we've been talking about, and Entra ID tenant, what you would use to store your users in groups. Or you can also create a Customer tenant.
