Azure SQL backup options
In the previous lecture, we looked at using Azure Backup to create and a backup and restore virtual machines. However, when we're looking at databases, we actually have a number of different options. And so for backup and restoration of databases, a lot depends on where the database is. So, for example, is it a database that's running on a virtual machine or is it actually a database that's running on Azure SQL parse? We'll look at the SQL parse option first because it is by far the simplest. Basically, Azure SQL parse services get backed up by default and there's not a great deal you need to do to it unless you want to change the default settings. If you want to change settings or you want to at least view what the defaults are, the first thing is do is go into your SQL Server.
