Describe resources required for virtual machines
- [Instructor] Let's look at the resources that are required for a virtual machine in Azure. And probably the easiest way to do that, or the best way to do that, is to just look at a virtual machine. So let's head over to the Azure portal, we'll create a virtual machine, and then we'll have a look at the resources that are created for that virtual machine. So this is the Azure portal, and I've logged into my subscription and just as with many things in the Azure portal, there are a lot of different ways you can create a virtual machine. I'm going to click on virtual machines right here and you'll see I don't have any, so I'm going to go ahead and click on create and create a virtual machine right here in the portal. So remember we talked about resource groups. The first thing I'm going to do is create a new resource group called AZ 900. Now I need to give my virtual machine a name.
