- We'll close out our discussion of compliance and governance by talking about resource locks or simply locks. Locks can be used to prevent changes or deletion of Azure resources. And unlike RBAC, which uses roles that a user gets assigned to, locks apply to all users. And probably the easiest way to understand locks, how to use them, how they work, is to have a look at them in the Portal. So, let's go do that. So, you remember a while back when we were looking at RBAC, I said I'm going to have this intern. I'm going to bring this intern in. I'm going to give the intern the ability to manage my web app and help me configure it and things. But I'm a little bit worried since this intern's not really familiar with the Azure Portal.
