- What is DevOps? Microsoft's definition of DevOps is the union of people, process, and products to enable continuous delivery of value to the end customer. This pretty much sums up what DevOps is in a concise manner, and if you look for the definition of DevOps elsewhere, you will see that these three key elements are always mentioned. Though sometimes, you will see culture or teams in place of people, which, if you think about it, it's really actually the same thing, as in the end, people are the foundation that make up teams and culture. Here, we have all the developers, testers, product owner, end users, operations engineers, and so forth. Basically, everyone that is involved and collaborates in the whole project.
