Identify features and uses for speech recognition and synthesis
- [Tim] Right, we're talking speech to text/text to speech. You might yawn and say, "Tim, yeah, I know, this is part of software as a service now." My audio book publisher does this. "You know, yeah, I understand." But remember that the beauty here is that you can leverage these capabilities on your own data in your own applications without having to create the ML models from scratch. We're talking about transcribing audio calls, voice commands, hands-free interactions with your applications. You could incorporate multimedia in virtual assistants, telephone, voice-guided interfaces, or web chatbots, For example, Fabrikam allows users to search products in its mobile app using voice commands. It's a great way to make your applications and solutions more accessible to a wider audience as well.
