Identify features and uses for sentiment analysis
- [Instructor] Sentiment analysis is one of those vocab words that's critical that you understand. It's not difficult to understand. Sentiment is how somebody feels about something, and the sentiment options with Azure AI Services are positive, negative, and neutral. But it's super useful to be able to filter things like customer product reviews, social media posts through the API, ask the API's opinion. And this can help you as a business through automation prioritize, for example, customer support requests based on urgency and tone and it also helps you preserve and monitor your brand reputation in real time. Very powerful stuff, sentiment analysis. Contoso Bank, for example, flags negative customer reviews to escalate urgent complaints. Yeah, excellent stuff, excellent stuff. The customer wins here because the business is proactively notified. Otherwise, they might not never have seen that complaint that someone made on a social media platform, you see?
