Create disk encryption policies
- [Narrator] BitLocker Drive encryption lets you encrypt entire hard disks and disk volumes. This helps protect computers running Windows 10 or Windows 11, and ensures that data is accessible only if the boot components of the computer haven't been compromised, and if the disk is still installed in the original computer. It offers you the option of requiring users to enter a password to unlock the drive when they want to use it. It also provides the option of requiring multifactor authentication. When you configure BitLocker, consider the following: What the requirements for hardware and software are. Whether your computer has a TPM. What credentials are required to configure BitLocker.
