- I really like using another tool and I'll share an example of how I used it for myself. When the "Playing Big" book was coming out about six weeks before the publication date, I got an email from my editor at Penguin and she said, "Oh Tara, great news. We've piqued the interest of the editors of the Sunday Review section of the New York Time. They'd like you to write an essay based on chapter six for their consideration, for the Sunday Review." So I see that and my mouth kind of opened, fell open because I didn't even know they were pitching them or, I had no idea that was even on the table. And my very first thoughts were, "Oh no, this is going to be a huge waste of time. I have an actual book launch to prepare for and a lot to do. And now I'm going to have to spend all this time like writing this piece, which we know is never going to be published because people who write for the Sunday Review section sound very grown…
