- [Instructor] Microsoft Azure will allow you to replicate a virtual machine to another region for the purposes of disaster recovery. Now in the past, setting up disaster recovery for an Azure virtual machine was somewhat of a tedious process because you had to configure a vault. But Microsoft has made some changes and the process now couldn't be easier. Now before I show you how to go about setting up disaster recovery, there is one very important thing that I need to show you. To do that, I'm going to click on Create and I'm going to choose the Azure virtual machine option. This takes me to the create a virtual machine screen. This is the same screen that we've used the throughout this course anytime we're creating a new virtual machine.
