Delete a VM
- [Instructor] When you finish using a virtual machine and that virtual machine is no longer needed, it's important to delete the virtual machine, because otherwise Microsoft will keep billing you for the resources that that virtual machine is consuming. So let's take a look at how to delete a virtual machine. To delete a virtual machine, all you have to do is select the checkbox associated with the virtual machine, then click on Delete. At this point, you're going to see a popup asking you if you want to delete the virtual machine. It's a good idea to go ahead and select the checkbox that says, "Apply force delete for selected virtual machines and virtual machine scale sets." And then go ahead and enter a yes in the confirm delete box. Now, before you click Delete, it's a good idea to look at the selected resources and just make sure that you really are deleting the virtual machine that you think you're about to…
