Connecting to Algo from a client
- [Instructor] Algo allows all kinds of different clients to connect, and we don't need to go through all of them here, but let's take a look at installing the profile on a Windows PC. The first thing you need to do after you set up Algo is to securely provide clients the relevant connection information for them. As we saw, these files are located in the configs directory in the Algo directory. You can use SCP to copy them from the server or put them on a flash drive, and then distribute them in a secure manner. During installation, Algo sets up the server's firewall, but you'll also want to make sure that ports are open on other firewalls between your server and the internet. You'll need to open up UDP Port 500 and 4500 for IKEv2 and UDP 51820 for WireGuard. I've copied my desktop configuration files to my Windows system.
