3D drawing with the Line tool

- [Instructor] SketchUp Free is a 3D package, and you can use the line tool in three dimensions. Now, we previously just used it to create a 2D shape, but let's go ahead and draw something in 3D using the line tool. So I'm going to select the line tool. The hot key for that is L. And let's just go ahead and draw a simple box. So I'm going to left click on my surface here, snap to red, go right angle, snap to green, snap to red again, and then I'm going to infer to this point here. So I want it to get going along green. And then just hold down Shift and get that connected. And then there we go. So basically, that's a box. Now, if I want to go and create something in 3D, all I have to do is draw on that vertical axis. So let's snap to this corner, go along the vertical axis. And then Shift and snap to that axis. So you can see I'm getting that. You can see how it's inferring here. There we go. And then snap here. You can see how it's inferring over to here, which, because everything's a…
