- [Instructor] Revit supports importing and exporting data in various file formats. This enables easy collaboration with users of other design software. I'm going to demonstrate here by importing and exporting an AutoCAD DWG file. And I'll start with the import process. So all I need to do is go to the Insert tab here, and I'm going to use this Link CAD button right here. Now, I want to point out at the bottom of the screen that there is a list of file types that are supported. And, as I mentioned, I'm going to be focusing on AutoCAD DWG here. But notice that there are several other formats that you can try on your own later if you have access to any of those kinds of files. So I'm going to go into the folder where the file I want to import is located, it's on my desktop in my Exercise Files folder, and it's this restaurant logo file right here. Now, I'm going to accept most of the defaults here. I'm going to preserve the colors and bring in all the layers and let it detect the units,…
