- [Narrator] Small mistakes like typos, broken links, or hidden metadata can make a presentation look unprofessional and distract your audience. PowerPoint's built-in error checking tools help you catch and fix these issues before you present. In this lesson, we'll go over each one to ensure your presentation is as polished and professional as possible. First, let's check for typos and grammar mistakes. Let's go to the review tab and click on spelling. When a mistake is found, you have several options. Ignore once. If the word is correct but flagged as a mistake, you can ignore it for this instance. Ignore all. If the word appears multiple times and is correct, this option ignores it throughout the presentation. Add, if it's a proper noun or unique term that you use frequently, this option adds it to PowerPoint's dictionary so it won't be flagged again.
