(bright music) - [Instructor] Welcome back. I thought I'd go through my editing process on this photo as I do it live. The first thing I usually do when I sit down to edit a photo is study it and figure out what needs to be done. I don't just start dragging sliders. (instructor chuckles) So in this case, I think there are some brightness and contrast issues, particularly in the sky. And then obviously, the lavender is desaturated. Now, you might like that look, but what's so amazing about these lavender fields in person is that the plants really pop out at you. You know, they're deep green and deep purple, and they're just lush and stunning. And I think that is missing here from the way that the image was captured. Now, there's also some retouching to be done on the model's face, removing hairs in her face and so forth. But I'm not going to address that here because we're just talking more about making adjustments. So the first thing that I'm going to do is work on the sky. And I…
