- [Instructor] The Selection Brush tool gives you a simple, intuitive way to make a selection by just painting over the area you want to select. This tool is really useful in some situations, like when you're making a selection to use with generative AI and when you want to vary the opacity of a selection. I'll show you both in this movie. First, let's talk about making a selection with generative AI. Generative Fill in Photoshop is a feature that creates new content to add to or replace content in an image, and it all starts with a selection, and the Selection Brush tool is a great way to make that selection. I'd like to remove the person in the orange jacket using Generative Fill. The first step is to select the person, including some of the area around the person. That will help Generative Fill predict what we want and create results we like. I'll go to the toolbar and I'll select the Selection Brush tool.
