Resize an image
- [Narrator] Now let's talk about how to resize an entire image. Remember that changing the image size is different than cropping. If we were just cropping this image with the crop tool, we would actually remove part of the image, maybe part of this guy over on the left, but that's not what we want to do in this movie. Now we want to take the whole image and make the whole thing smaller. To make the image smaller, go up to the image menu and choose image size. And that opens the image size dialog box. Now let's say that we're resizing this image for use on screen rather than in print. When you're resizing for use on screen, whether that's to attach to an email or put on a social media site, or even to use in a presentation, then resizing is pretty simple. You can leave everything in this dialog box where it is now at its defaults, except change either the width or the height to be what you want it to be. So let's say we want the width to be not close to 1,800 pixels, but instead…
